Vicky completed her double bachelors degree at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) obtaining qualifications in both Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (Chinese Herbalism). After graduating from RMIT Vicky studied and worked in China and Taiwan where she completed two intensive clinical internships at prestigious hospitals. There she spent time in the each department of the hospitals where she treated many patients for different conditions. She has also spent time working in the largest Neuro-Acupuncture rehabilitation centre in America - Zhu’s Neuro-Acupuncture and Rehabilitation Center in California. In the past Vicky has consistently volunteered in Melbourne and Adelaide at community clinics, cancer centres and refugee centres providing access to Acupuncture for the disadvantaged individuals of her community. Born and raised in Melbourne, Vicky grew up surrounded by Chinese Medicine. Her grandfather was a herbalist and passed on his knowledge down the family line. From a young age she was exposed to Traditional Chinese Medicine from her family and also personally as her means of health care. Vicky’s passion is to blend Traditional knowledge with contemporary Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, grounded in evidence based practice. Vicky is passionate about having a positive impact on her patients lives not just through Acupuncture, but also through educating, empowering and putting her patients behind the wheel of their health. Vicky has extensive experience treating a wide range of health conditions and she has a special interest in working with neurological conditions, pain management, fertility and IVF support, digestive issues, autoimmune conditions and cancer support. Vicky is also fluent in both Chinese and Cantonese languages.
