Vicky is a licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine Herbalist. She completed her double bachelors degree at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology obtaining training in both Western Medicine and Chinese Medicine. She is also completing a Masters in Reproductive Medicine at the University of New South Wales. Growing up she was surrounded by Chinese Medicine. Her grandfather was a herbalist and passed on his knowledge down the family line. From a young age she was exposed to Traditional Chinese Medicine from her family and also as her means of health care. She has since studied and worked in China and Taiwan where she completed two intensive clinical internships at prestigious hospitals. There she spent time in each department of the hospital where she treated many patients for lots of different conditions. She has also spent time working in a Neuro-Acupuncture rehabilitation centre in America . In the past Vicky has consistently volunteered in Melbourne and Adelaide at community clinics, cancer centres and refugee centres providing access to Acupuncture for the disadvantaged individuals of her community. Vicky is passionate about having a positive impact on her patients lives not just through Acupuncture, but also through educating, empowering and putting her patients behind the wheel of their health. For various conditions such as: neurological conditions, pain management, fertility, IVF, digestive issues, autoimmune conditions and cancer support. Vicky loves supporting women’s health and has a special interest in treating infertility using both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. She has a strong interest in women’s health issues such as endometriosis, PCOS, irregular menstrual cycles and hormonal imbalances. She is currently blending her Chinese Medicine knowledge with Western Medicine in her Masters in Reproductive Medicine at the University of New South Wales.
